Ongoing Projects of Spade and Trowel Garden Club include, but are not
limited to:

- Planting and maintenance of a
wildflower garden
on conservation
land at Castle Hill in Andover.
- Creation and maintenance of
traffic island gardens at Beacon
Street and Stevens Street, Andover.
- Awarding of the Ann Royal Scholarship for post high-school study
in Horticulture, Environmental Science, Landscape Design,
Floriculture, or related subjects.
- Garden therapy programs for senior citizens.
- Sponsor and organize "Books in Bloom" at Memorial Hall Library, Andover,
MA
- Seasonal decorations at Memorial Hall Library and other historic
buildings, Andover, MA
- Plantings and maintenance of plantings at the "Welcome to Andover" sign
on North Main Street in Andover.
- Participation in "Art in Bloom" at the Museum of Fine Arts in
Boston, MA
